After decades of being a human therapist and fitness instructor, my love of dogs and the desire to help them be the best that they can be, led me to become a clinical canine massage practitioner. Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge, with the latest addition to my toolbox being the Canine Conditioning Academy coach course. I have seen the benefits that massage and conditioning can bring to humans, and I can now combine my therapy and conditioning with dogs for optimal results. Based in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire, I am a mobile therapist and will travel to you and your dog(s) so that they feel comfortable in their own environment. Group sessions and online core conditioning training may also be possible.

The combination of manual therapy and conditioning can not only be used for the rehabilitation of injuries or management of chronic conditions, it can also be used to reduce the occurrence of injuries or to improve sporting/working dogs performance too.
I will work alongside your vet and other therapists where necessary in order to try and achieve the best outcome for you and your dog. I am fully insured and a member of the professional organisations, The Canine Massage Guild, The International Association of Animal Therapists and a licenced core conditioning coach with The Canine Conditioning Academy.

I recently enrolled my three senior dogs in Jo’s 8-week canine conditioning course, and the results have been truly impressive! Not only did their overall fitness improve, but their range of movement increased. The progress was measurable, too—thanks to Jo’s attention to detail, we were able to track the changes through pre- and post-course muscle measurements. Each dog showed increased muscle mass and, most importantly, their muscle balance equalized on both sides of their body, something they had struggled with before.
What I loved most about the course, beyond the physical benefits, was the quality time it allowed me to spend with my dogs. The sessions were engaging for them, and it became a wonderful bonding experience for us. I could see how much they enjoyed the exercises, and it gave me a chance to connect with them on a deeper level. Jo’s guidance was fantastic—she made sure each exercise was tailored to their individual needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at every step.
I can’t recommend Jo’s conditioning course enough for anyone looking to boost their dog’s fitness and mobility, especially for senior dogs like mine. The results were beyond what I expected, and the entire experience has been enriching for both me and my dogs!
