Hayley Miller – Canine Massage based in Twickenham
I am a canine massage therapist and I treat soft tissue/ muscular conditions and injuries and help to support common orthopaedic conditions such as HD/Ed, Arthritis, Spondylosis, & Luxating patella by managing and alleviating pain. Massage aids range of motion in joints, easing aches and pain, releases adhesions and restricted fascia improving the quality of life for your dog.
Since working as a Canine massage therapist, I was interested in finding a way to extend my skills and to further assist improving the dogs’ I treat to help prevent injuries and strengthen weaker muscles causing imbalances.
I knew of the fantastic reputation of the CCA, and decided to embark on the training to become a licenced coach so I could offer safe, effective and proven methods to improve mobility, flexibility and balance to your dog.
This is done by specific targeted exercises that strengthen your dog’s core, improving posture, proprioception, movement and balance. You can liken it to Pilates for dogs!
We decided to try doing the 8 week foundation conditioning programme, as I was very curious to what results we would get as Ada does get a lot of daily exercise.
The exercises were fun, and Ada got a lot out of it.
After the initial 3 weeks, it was already evident that there were improvements in her muscle mass.
By the final assessment, there was a definite improvement in muscle mass, posture, and her stride length had improved showing a greater ‘reach and drive’.
This has been a new type of interaction and bonding experience for Ada and me, which has been both enjoyable and educational.

I offer a 1to1 service ensuring that both you and your dog are getting individual guidance to get the most out of the programme and to obtain the best results possible.
